Mrs. Palmeiri was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She has been in the USA for 27 years. She has lived in New York City for 15 years and currently resides in Columbia, IL, where she has lived for the past 12 years. Mrs. Pameiri has two teenagers who have attended Catholic middle schools and now attend Gibault.

Mrs. Palmeiri has taught Spanish at the high school, junior high, elementary, and adult levels for the past four years. Prior to teaching, she worked in the educational recruiting industry, as well as the tourism industry.

Mrs. Palmeiri has worked for the United Nations and at the JFK in New York City for three years. She has lived in Argentina, Dominican Republic, New York City, and Miami Beach before choosing Columbia, IL to raise her family. About a year ago, Mrs. Palmeiri began taking Salsa classes! She is passionate about education and knowlege. She says, "Education is something that no one can take away from our kids....it changes their lives!"
