She has lived in New York City for 15 years and currently resides in Columbia, IL, where she has lived for the past 14 years. Mrs. Pameiri has a son who attends Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and a daughter who attends Gibault.

Mrs. Palmeiri has taught Spanish at the high school, junior high, elementary, and adult levels for the past four years. Prior to teaching, she worked in the educational recruiting industry, as well as the tourism industry. She has worked for various colleges for over 16 years as a Director of High School Admissions, and was responsible for recruitment and enrollment.

She has lived in Argentina, Dominican Republic, New York City, Miami Beach, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Dearborn, MI before choosing Columbia, IL to raise her family. About 3 years ago, Mrs. Palmeiri began taking Salsa classes! She and her family also adopted a rescue puppy! Mrs. Palmeiri is passionate about education and knowlege. She says, "Education is something that no one can take away from our kids....it changes their lives!"
