Mrs. Lynn Dugan
Mrs. Dugan grew up in Sparta, IL, but has lived in Waterloo for 23 years. She and her husband, Tony, have three kids, Chase, Drew and Kylie. They also have a Papillon puppy named Jax, and three cats. The Dugan family enjoys wiffle ball games in the yard, four-wheeler rides, and fishing in the lake. Chase and Drew are in college and Kylie attends school here at SPPCS.

Before her first official teaching job, Mrs. Dugan was a kindergarten aide for two years at New Athens Public School. She went on to teach first grade at St. Henry Catholic School in Belleville for ten years. When she made the move to SPPCS, Mrs. Dugan taught sixth grade for two years, fourth grade for eight years, and is now on her fourth year in kindergarten. This will be her twenty-fourth year in the Belleville Diocese.
Fun Facts about Mrs. Dugan:
Mrs. Dugan's late father, Richard Downen, was a Deacon at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta. He actually married Mrs. Dugan and her husband, Tony, as well as her brother and his wife! Her father was also able to baptize all of his grandchildren (except her daughter Kylie) before he passed away. Mrs. Dugan also has an older brother who is an opera singer and a nephew, Darius Jackson, who plays football for the Cleveland Browns. Go Dawgs!
